The Mary Washington Chapter - the first Chapter formed in the District of Columbia and known as the "Mother of Chapters" in Washington, was formed in 1892 on the evening of February 29. The Mary Washington Chapter has diverse activities including delivering books to schools, preserving Boundary Stone SE 7, laying wreaths on the graves at Arlington National Cemetery, commemorating service members, dedicating memorial plaques and more!
